How to do the slow-mo walk in your own home.

I wish I can make butter from scratch.

Of course I can if I want to but I will just put that wish aside for now because I have a better idea.

Two words, baby: GARLIC BUTTER

Whenever I go gallivanting in the mall, I make a slow-mo walk outside Sbarro (the pizza place) to smell that famous garlicky smell.

I swear, I forget my name.

Most of the time, I can't afford their pizza so I opt for their garlic bread.

Cheap, filling, no nonsense, dripping with garlic butter.

Easy.

Great idea.

Homemade Garlic Butter Spread

You will need:

1 cup (=1 bar) Salted or Unsalted Butter (your choice)

1/4 cup Olive Oil or regular Canola Oil

a medium head of Garlic (about 6 cloves), minced very finely until it's almost like a paste

2 tablespoons Parsley, minced

a frying pan, a wooden ladle/spoon, a stove

- - -

1. Leave butter to soften in a bowl in room temperature.
2. In frying pan, pour olive oil. Turn on low heat and add garlic.
2. Turn off heat when you see the bits of garlic sizzle in the oil.
3. Add parsley while oil is hot.
4. Pour oil on the softened butter and mix together well.
5. Transfer mixture into a resealable container and let cool in the fridge.

Optional: Mix all ingredients in a bowl and blast it in the microwave oven. For how long, I wouldn't know because I don't have a microwave oven. Ha.

Perfect on hot breads and toasts or for stir-frying vegetables and seafood.

As for the slow-mo walk, it's your neighbors' turn.

Till the next eats!
